Thousands of people are looking for alternatives when it comes to heating their homes. Governments and private groups are encouraging change with incentives and massive amounts of literature to help us get there.
It's 2010 folks, and solar panels are literally hot news.More and more home and business owners are finding that by increasing use of SOLAR energy they're getting greater efficiencies in energy consumption; they're part of a plan to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and they secure a strong energy supply for the future. It does make good sense.
I'm writing from Canada in the middle of January and it's cold. Cold!Winter is one of the inescapable realities of my country, the northern states in the US, and many other countries in the earths northern clime. Around the end of October we shoot up the thermostats or turn on the electric to heat our homes. Then in the spring we check our statements to see the cost of keeping warm and usually cringe.
While I live in an urban centre, some of my family reside in northern Ontario, heating their home and out buildings with a combination of electic panels, oil and wood. At least that's what they did do to a large extent a year ago. Living on a farm brings the 'handy' out in a person.
When my brother-in-law, the farmer,discovered that he could construct his own alternative heat source by putting together solar panels, hetook action. He downloaded easy to follow instructions and learned how by step by step instruction. His finished products were amazing, cost-saving and look great.
The rewards as I write are ten-fold whether the sunbeats down or the wind spills out a blizzard. There's one farmer I know who's convinced that when the bills arrive come Spring, there will be a cost reductionto cheer about. He and his family can feel it!
He's proud of his solar panels, happy he's saving money AND contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This year, and the next, and the next.
Solar panels are here to stay. With greater understanding they are no longer considered a new age, out of reach, highly technical commodity.Instead, smart buyers are looking for cost effective, efficient and available alternatives to save and lower the carbon footprint in the near future.
So come on in out of the cold. Solar Energy and Solar Panels are good news.
